Scott Simon developed his music skills at a young age touring with bands throughout the Midwest. Later, he further refined his sound while earning his PhD at the University of North Texas and teaching at the University of South Florida.

Scott studied with Mike Stern (guitarist for Miles Davis), Steve Masakowski (guitarist for Bobby McFerrin), Joe Diorio (Pat Metheny's guitar teacher), Larry Coryell, Arturo Sandoval and other jazz greats.

A guitar virtuoso, Scott has a versatile range of capabilities and a style all his own. Scott's music is an upscale mix of Jazz, Blues, Americana, and Classical guitar.

During his free time Scott likes hiking, travel and sightseeing, reading, indie films and jazz concerts. Sedona and The Grand Canyon are favorite destinations for the views, relaxation, and contemplation. In his travels, Scott has ridden a dugout canoe into the Amazon Jungle in Peru, climbed the Mayan Pyramids in Mexico, and roamed the Bazaar in Tunisia.
